Paxton's Eating Cereal at 12 weeks

I know I am behind with my posts, but I'm still playing catch up. I'm still getting used to Blogging! Anyways, after we returned from Cheer Camp, Paxton's sleeping habits (getting up once to eat around 3 or 4) went out the door. He went back to wanting to eat 2 or 3 times at night! NOT GOOD! Even during the day he was just SO HUNGRY! I'm blaming it on a growth spurt, but I was exhausted at this point and I know that Paxton is a big boy so I called the doctor. WHEN CAN HE START RICE CEREAL????? They were a little hesitant because he was only 3 months, but they looked at his chart and saw his last weight and said he could probably handle it! SO...we started cereal! He did really good! Even the first bite stayed in his mouth! His tongue didn't push it out!!

He really liked it and ate every bit of it!!!

HOWEVER...we realized that we weren't fast enough!!! He didn't understand why it was constant and why the spoon kept going away. It was so sad to see him cry! But he really did good with the cereal and seemed to like it!!
We gave him a bath after eating the cereal (which is now our bedtime routine)!! He loves bath time!! He has started kicking in the water and grabbing the drain plug. He is so cute! I'm so glad he likes to get baths. I hope that continues! Anways...after the bath we gave him a bottle...he didn't even make it through the entire bottle....

IT WORE HIM OUT!!!!! GOOD NIGHT BUDDY!!!! SWEET DREAMS!!!

Total Confusion

Alright, those of you that know us, know that Richard and I both graduated from Auburn and are big Auburn fans. We even put Paxton in Auburn stuff just days after he was born (as you can see in the picture above).
Well...my parents (Grammy and Granddaddy) are determined to make Paxton an Alabama fan. They even have several Alabama outfits for him at their house. Paxton has this signature arm movement where he holds his right are in the arm and moves it around in a circle...and yes Grammy and Granddaddy have decided that he is already trying to say Roll Tide.

Grammy took these pictures and has them in a double frame on her desk at work. Poor kid is going to be so confused as he grows up. BUT...once he starts talking Richard and I can tell him that we only say WAR EAGLE and that Roll Tide are bad words!!!! haha

Auburn Cheer Camp

Ok...so I had to go to Cheerleading Camp and well that meant Paxton had to go too! so...my mom (Grammy) took off work and went with us. Thank goodness she was there!!! I know he definitely had a better time hanging out with her than he would have if he had had to go to the colesium with me everyday. Thanks mom for going with me and keeping Paxton!
Paxton slept in his pack-n-play for the most part, but he did get in the bed with us in the mornings. Well...it was a king size bed and Paxton basically took over the entire thing! haha Gotta love him!!His 1st time at the colesium to watch the Home Pom routines. He apparently didn't care about them as he feel right to sleep in Grammy's lap. But...

He woke up in a GREAT mood. He was talking/cooing and smiling up a storm. It was so cute.

He came to the colesium one afternoon to visit. I was happy to see him but I wasn't the only one. The girls love him!

Aubie came by one night, so I grabbed him and asked for a picture. Paxton was asleep so I thought I would hold him and get in the picture, but Aubie had other plans and just grabbed Paxton from me. I got nervous because I thought if he wakes up and sees Aubie he may have a fit (given our past experience with mascots). But he slept right through the picture. I was so glad we got the picture because I don't know when we will see Aubie again. I think it's great!
WAR EAGLE!!

Like I've mentioned before, Paxton loves older girls!! Here he is with all of the Senior Cheerleaders from Spain Park!
We made it through Cheerleading Camp! And we were all glad to get back home. Richard was especially glad to have us back home. We were gone 4 nights...that's a long time. We missed Daddy!!
NOW IT"S SUMMER TIME!!! YIPPEE!!!

Paxton loves Bree

Playing Chicken!!! This is Bree's favorite toy and she brought it over to Paxton to play. So here Paxton is holding the chicken...but what you can't see if Bree is very close waiting for him to throw it...haha. Richard ended up getting the chicken and playing with Bree.
Paxton has his 2 favorite things now...his blankie and Bree's tail!! Bree loves to be right beside Paxton, but I have a feeling that will change as Paxton starts grabbing her more and more. Bree really does really well around Paxton! She is a good "big sis."

Claire is Graduating High School...CRAZY

My "little sister" is graduating high school! I can't believe it! I have known her since she was born and we would tell people that we were sisters. We wore matching clothes and played all the time. She would be waiting on me when I got off the bus from school and we would watch Save By the Bell and eat chips and salsa and drink Diet Coke. Oh the memories...now she is graduating and going off to college! Time sure has flown by! Of course, I'm sure she feels the same way as I am married and now have a little boy!
Paxton loves Claire. He likes the older girls!! George better watch out!!!
CONGRATULATIONS CLAIRE!!! I'm so happy for you and wish you the best in college! Don't forget about your boyfriend here!
We love you!!!

A few more May pictures

NO...this is not usually wear I sit with my sleeping baby boy, but Daddy was vacuuming in the living room and Bree got scared, so Paxton and I just sat on the kitchen floor to keep Bree company.
Watching TV with Daddy and Bree! Sometimes I think Bree thinks she is a cat. She loves to sit on top of the pillows!

Watching TV in his blue chair with his big blue bunny!!

He has started grabbing his clothes and eating them. He has also found his hands and fingers! He eats them all the time!

This is my AUBURN BOY!!!!
